After Completing Grueling Course, Marine Lieutenant Graduates, Becomes 1st Female Infantry Officer

A female Marine has become the service's first female infantry officer, reports the Voice of America News.
The unnamed lieutenant graduated on Monday from the 13-week Marine Corps infantry training officer course in Quantico, Va.
She has been assigned to the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton, Calif., according to a service statement.
