After Clearance, Indigenous Fighter Delivered To Air Force

The air force has declared initial operational capability for India's domestically designed and built Tejas light combat aircraft, reports the Press Trust of India.

The plane was handed to the air force on Monday.

The milestone followed more than 30 years of development and research, including first flight 10 years ago. The Tejas has completed more than 1,508 flight tests using various prototypes, officials said.
