The guided-missile frigate USS Jarrett is scheduled to return to San Diego on Monday after a six-month deployment to the eastern Pacific Ocean, the Navy Times reports.
Jarrett carried out a number of drug-interdiction operations during its deployment, netting 12 suspected drug-traffickers and more than 9 tons of drugs with an estimated street value of $266 million, said Navy officials.
