African Union Gives Military Council 3 Months To Cede Power

The African Union has given Sudan's military council three months to transfer power to a civilian government, reports the Sudan Tribune (Paris). 

The decision came on Tuesday during an A.U. meeting in Cairo. 

It extended a previously established time limit of 15 days, which was approved on April 15, CNN reported at the time.
