The Dutch Parliament has approved the Cabinet's plan to send police trainers to Afghanistan, reports Deutsche Welle.
The Cabinet had authorized a deployment of 545 personnel to provide police training through 2014.
Lawmakers, in approving the deployment on Thursday, required a written guarantee from Kabul that police trained by the Dutch would not be used in military operations.
