Egypt's ISIS affiliate says it was responsible for a series of bombings targeting security facilities in the Sinai that killed more than two dozen people on Thursday, reports the New York Times.
At least 26 were killed and around 36 injured in the attacks, which involved mortars and car bombs in the towns of Al-Arish, the provincial capital of North Sinai and Rafah, reported CNN.
Accounts varied on the number of casualties, with some reporting more than 100 injured.
