Advisory Board Urges Closing Of Joint Forces Command

A Pentagon advisory board wants the Defense Dept. to close what it sees as a contractor-heavy U.S. Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) and initiate a hiring freeze for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), all Joint Staff directorates and all combatant commands, Defense News reports.
The Defense Business Board also recommended the closing of the Networks and Information Integration (NII) directorate.
