Advances Made In Battlefield Wound Treatment

A research project funded by the Pentagon and managed by the U.S. Air Force Office of Scientific Research has developed light-activated technology to treat battlefield injuries, United Press International reports.
The study is being led by Harvard Medical School Professor Irene Kochevar and Associate Professor Robert Redmond of the Massachusetts General Hospital Wellman Center.
