The Admiralty Shipyard in St. Petersburg is preparing to lay down two new Novorossiysk-class diesel submarines this week, reports Russia’s Tass news agency. On Nov. 1, the shipyard is scheduled to formally begin construction on of the boats. The Ufa and Magadan are the third and fourth of six subs in the class being built for the Pacific Fleet, Adm.
