Adm. Willard Now Heads Pacific Command

The new head of U.S. forces in Asia and the Pacific assumed command Monday during a ceremony at Camp Smith, Hawaii, reports the Honolulu Advertiser.
Adm. Robert Willard, a former fighter pilot, took over the Pacific Command from Adm. Timothy Keating, who served 2.5 years in the post.
Willard's previously headed the Pacific Fleet.
