Two more Russian warships from the Black Sea Fleet are being sent to the Gulf of Aden off the Somali coast to combat piracy there, RIA Novosti reports.
The Yamal and Azov landing ships are carrying naval infantry units, said a navy spokesman.
"The vessels will soon pass the Bosporus and Dardanelles Straits on route to the Somali coast through the Suez Canal," said the spokesman.
