If convicted, five senior members of Al-Qaida face the potential death penalty, reports the News Tribune (Tacoma, Wash.).

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four co-defendants will be tried together in a military court at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for plotting the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, the Pentagon announced on Wednesday.
