The Nigerian army has dismissed more than 200 soldiers following a secret court-martial, reports the Premium Times (Abuja).
One unnamed soldier said that 203 troops were fired for allegedly disobeying a direct order from the commanding officer.
The soldier said the action came after the troops sought support equipment. The army reportedly planned to transport the troops in a dump truck for an operation in Bama and Gwoza, which are held by Boko Haram insurgents.
