The Israeli Ministry of Defense has denied media reports that it has been discussing a potential submarine purchase from Germany, the Jerusalem Post reports.
It was widely assumed that Germany and Israel have negotiating the subsidized purchase of a Doplhin-class submarine and two Meko-class missile ships.
This week, there were wire-service accounts indicating that Germany had turned down the potential deal for a submarine, two warships and torpedoes at deep discounts.
