Mozambican and Chinese defense officials have signed a protocol on military assistance in Beijing, reports the Mozambique Information Agency.
The accord covers supplies to Mozambique worth about US$3 million as part of China's annual assistance to that nation's Defense Ministry, officials said.
The funds will cover equipment purchased in China, including the equipping of an operating theater of the military hospital in Maputo and military barracks.
