President Barack Obama has extended the U.S. military mission in Libya for another month, reports Fox News.
The president's decision, made at the request of top military leaders, is expected to keep two warships off the coast of Libya to attack the Islamic State and assist Libyan security forces battling the terrorist group in the coastal city of Sirte, unnamed defense officials told Fox News on Aug. 31.
