Academic Study Puts Costs To Treasury Of Decade Of Wars At $3.7 Trillion

A new study estimates the cost to the U.S. of the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan to be at least $3.7 trillion, Reuters reports.
A research project at Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies says the final bill could reach $4.4 trillion.
The estimate includes the actual costs of the conflicts themselves -- an estimated $2.3 trillion to $2.7 trillion in the past 10 years -- as well as long-term obligations to wounded veterans and projected war...
