The Abu Sayyaf terrorist group says it has kidnapped a German man and killed his wife in the southern Philippines, reports Time magazine.

On Sunday, locals in Sulu found the body of a woman aboard an abandoned yacht that was flying the German flag, reported the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
