Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe says he is "determined" to meet with dictator Kim Jong Un to discuss Japanese citizens kidnapped by North Korea, reports Reuters.
Talks with Kim will have no preconditions, Abe told lawmakers on Friday.
Abe previously took a harder line on North Korea and vowed to meet only after progress was achieved on North Korea's nuclear program.
