Abbas Accuses Hamas With Smuggling Weapons Into West Bank

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas charged the rival Hamas movement with smuggling weapons and explosives into the West Bank, the Jerusalem Post reports.
In an interview Thursday with the London-based Asharq Alawsat newspaper, Abbas said Hamas has been punishing those who fire rockets into Israel even while hoarding weapons in the West Bank.
The Palestinian president and Fatah leader said his forces find Hamas warehouses filled with weapons almost daily.
