8 Badly Hurt As Peacekeeping Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing

The United Nations mission in western Sudan is investigating a helicopter accident that injured eight people seriously.
A helicopter from the U.N. peacekeeping mission in Darfur (UNAMID) made an emergency landing about mid-day, local time, reports Agence France-Presse.
A Mi-8 helicopter carrying 18 passengers and three crew made a hard landing close to the helipad at a UNAMID base at Saraf Omra in North Darfur, according to the mission
