75 Percent Of Chemical Weapon Stocks Destroyed, Says Army

The U.S. Army Chemical Materials Agency reached a new milestone last week, saying it has now destroyed 75 percent of its chemical agent stockpile, reports the Army News Service.
At this point, 22,958 tons of chemical agents and more than 2.1 million munitions have been destroyed.
The CMA reached the 50 percent mark in December 2007, and the 60 percent milestone in April 2009.
