70th Anniversary In October May Prompt Provocations By Pyongyang, Warns S. Korea

South Korea's Defense Ministry has warned that there are likely to be provocations by North Korea in October, the anniversary of the formation of the ruling party, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
"With the communist country set to mark the 70th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea's formation on Oct. 10, the North is likely to launch strategically motivated provocations," said the ministry on Friday.
