7 Percent Increase Projected For Defense Budget

The Polish government has drafted a 7.1 percent increase for its defense budget, reports defense-aerospace.com.
The 2011 budget of US$9 billion, an increase of US$589 million over the previous year, maintains the government's goal of spending 1.95 percent of gross domestic product on defense, said Defense Minister Bogdan Klich.
