At least seven people have been killed in an explosion in the southwestern Yemeni port city of Al Mokha, reports Agence France-Presse.
On Tuesday, an improvised explosive device (IED) was set off on a motorcycle in the middle of a market. At least 20 people were injured in the blast, local officials said.
There were no immediate claims of responsibility. Local officials told Reuters that Al-Qaida or ISIS might be behind the attack. Yemen's Saba news agency blamed Houthi rebels.
The port city is a major naval base for Emirati forces fighting the Houthis and supplies coalition forces operating in Hodeidah.
Separately, U.N. envoy Martin Griffiths told Asharq Al-Awsat (London) that an anticipated prisoner swap deal would be delayed.
Griffiths also confirmed that Dutch general Patrick Cammaert would likely soon step down from his position monitoring the cease-fire in the contested city of Hodeidah.
