60 Apaches Sought From U.S. In $5 Billion Deal

The United Arab Emirates has requested the sale of dozens of AH-64D Apache Block III attack helicopters, reports the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency.

The U.S. sees the deal as contributing to its own national security, said the agency.
