6 KF-16s Set For Red Flag Drills In Alaska

Six South Korean air force fighter jets have left to join U.S.-led air exercises in Alaska, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).

The KF-16Ds departed on Tuesday and were scheduled to arrive at Eielson Air Force Base later in the day.

The Red Flag drills begin on Aug. 10 and run for 12 days.

A total of 103 South Koreans, including 32 combat pilots, are set to participate in the training.
