At least six civilians have been killed after unexploded ordinance detonated in a local market in Afghanistan's eastern Paktika province, reports the Tolo News (Afghanistan).
On Monday, residents in the Janikhel district found the device and unsuccessfully tried to defuse it, said a provincial police spokesman.
