The Russian Defense Ministry says it will start buying PAK FA fifth-generation fighters after 2012, RIA Novosti reports.
Based on the test results of current prototypes, six to 10 aircraft will be purchased, said Vladimir Popovkin, deputy defense minister for arms procurement.
The aircraft is expected to enter air force service in 2015. By 2016, at least 50 of the aircraft should be on order, Popovkin said.
