The Cuban government has completed the release of 53 political prisoners as part of an agreement to normalize relations with Washington, reports the Wall Street Journal, citing statements made by U.S. officials.
Havana reportedly released a small number of prisoners in the months before the announcement of an agreement was made last month, said the U.S. State Dept.
