The Spanish Ministry of Defense is buying another 50 Italian-built light armored vehicles for overseas missions, reports defense-aerospace.com.
A 15.8 million euro (US$19 million) deal covers the purchase of 50 Lince vehicles in the 4 x 4 "squad" configuration capable of carrying five personnel.
The Spanish army has already deployed 98 Linces to Afghanistan with enhanced armor protection against ballistic and mine threats.
