5 Security Personnel Die In Roadside Bombings In Kompienga Province

Five security personnel have been killed in weekend attacks in eastern Burkina Faso, reports Agence France-Presse.
On March 16, a police officer and soldier were killed when their motorcycle hit an improvised explosive device (IED) in Kompienga province, near the border with Benin, a security official said.
On March 17, three soldiers were killed and one wounded in the same area after their vehicle struck a roadside bomb.
