5 Die In Training Accidents

Five Russian military personnel died Thursday in two training incidents in eastern Russia, reports Deutsche Presse-Agentur.

Three members of a T-72 tank crew were killed during live-fire night training at the Burduny training range in Buryatia when a round exploded inside the tank, said a military spokesman.

Meanwhile, two airmen were killed when their Yak-52 training aircraft crashed near the city of Blagoveshchensk near the Chinese border.
