At least five people have been killed as protests at the U.N. peacekeeping base in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo entered their second day, reports Africa News (Republic of the Congo).
On Monday, hundreds of protesters stormed the U.N. base in Goma and a logistics facility outside the city.
The demonstrators smashed windows and looted computers, furniture and other valuables from the building.
