Forty-five Islamic State fighters in Mosul have died after eating apparently poisoned food, according to Iraqi media cited by Haaretz (Israel).
A total of 145 ISIS militants took part in the iftar evening meal after fasting during the day during Ramadan. About 45 died a short time later, according to a spokesman for the Kurdish Democratic Party.
It was unclear if it was a case of food poisoning or a deliberate poisoning.
