The U.S. military plans to deliver a fleet of 440 armored security vehicles to Afghanistn in November, Defense News reports.
Nine variants of the family of Medium Armored Security Vehicles (MASV) will make up the order, said program officials.
The MASV is based on the U.S. M1117 Armored Security Vehicle and is built by Textron Marine & Land Systems.
