The Turkish government has decided to send an additional 400 military personnel to Afghanistan, reports Today's Zaman (Istanbul).
The number of Turkish troops participating in the NATO-led training and equipping mission will increase from 700 to 1,100, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced on Monday.
The Turkish Parliament on Jan. 13 approved extending military participation in the NATO mission for two years.
