At least four people have been killed and 60 injured in a magnitude 7 earthquake in northern Philippines, reports the Straits Times (Singapore).
On Wednesday morning, the earthquake, centered in the Abra province on Luzon, damaged hundreds of buildings and caused tremors in Manila, about 190 miles (300 km) south.
Around 280 towns and 15 cities in 15 provinces reported damage from the quake, with at least 170 buildings suffering major damage, said Interior Minister Benjamin Abalos....
