A Burmese air force helicopter crashed last week in the eastern Shan state, killing four people onboard, reports the Deutsche Presse-Agentur.
The Russian-built Mi-1 helicopter probably went down due to bad weather, according to an unnamed air force official.
The Shan state serves as the home of several insurgent groups, including the Shan State Army, the United Wa Army and the Kokang Army.
