The U.S. Justice Dept. has charged four members of China’s People’s Liberation Army for stealing personal information about millions of Americans from the Equifax credit reporting agency in 2017, reports the South China Morning Post.
The indictment was handed down by a grand jury in a federal court in Atlanta, Ga., on Tuesday, reported the Washington Post.
The charges included computer fraud, wire fraud and economic espionage.
