3rd Cav At Fort Hood Adds Stryker Armored Vehicles

The 3rd Cavalry Regiment at Fort Hood, Texas, has completed its conversion to a Stryker wheeled armored vehicle unit, reports the Army News Service.
The 3rd Cav has become the ninth and final unit in the Army to be transformed into a Stryker brigade combat team, said officials.
The regiment began the transition from an armored unit to a Stryker formation last November, but the first 151 vehicles did not arrive until late last week.
