3,000 Troops From Multiple Nations Wrap Up African Lion Drills

The multinational African Lion exercise in Morocco is winding down, reports the Air Force Times.

More than 3,000 military personnel from the U.S. and partner nations have been taking part in the annual joint force exercise, the largest in Africa.

The drill, which ends Friday, is designed to reinforce training from previous exercises and enhance military-to-military cooperation.

U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa is the lead component for the exercise.
