In $30 Billion Deal, United Technology To Buy Rockwell Collins

Jet-engine maker United Technologies has agreed to buy aircraft parts manufacturer Rockwell Collins in a deal that may be the largest ever in the defense and aerospace industry, reports the Financial Times (U.K.).
Including debt, the deal is valued at about $30 billion.
United Technologies (UTC), Farmington, Conn., said on Monday that it had reached an agreement to acquire Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
