The U.S. Army says three crew members were killed in Germany when a Black Hawk helicopter crashed in a wooded area on Wednesday, Reuters reports.
The UH-60 helicopter crashed near a junction between Viernheim and Lorsch, near Heidelberg, according to a spokesman for U.S. Army Europe.
The incident is currently considered to be an accident.
The helicopter was traveling from Mannheim to the Coleman Army Airfield at the time of the incident.
