3 Eurofighters Delivered From Tranche 2

The Spanish air force has taken delivery of its first Tranche 2 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft, reports Eurofighter.

Three aircraft were delivered to Spain, with a fourth scheduled for the near future.

Spain has ordered a total 87 Typhoons and already taken delivery of 19 Tranche 1 aircraft.

Thirty-four Tranche 2 aircraft are eventually expected to be handed over to Madrid.

Tranche 2 Typhoons feature a new computer suite and enhanced ground attack capabilities.
