2nd Aircraft Carrier Group Arrives In Persian Gulf

The United States has deployed a second aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf region, reports Agence France-Presse.
"There are currently two carrier strike groups in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations," said a Navy spokesman.
USS Abraham Lincoln is in the Arabian Sea, and USS Enterprise is transiting the Gulf of Aden to replace USS Carl Vinson, which has left the zone to conduct maneuvers in the Bay of Bengal, said the spokesman.
