The British armed forces are expected to cut the number of their lawyers by about 25 percent, reports the Guardian (U.K.).
The ongoing defense review is likely to recommend a reduction of at least one in every four lawyers in the British army and air force, according to unnamed military sources.
Lawyers argued that such a reduction could affect the ability of British troops to act in compliance with the Geneva conventions.
