Ten military personnel have been killed in a joint operation by Nigerien and Nigerian military forces against criminal gangs in southern Niger, reports the Defense Post.
On Dec. 29, the joint force launched an operation against armed groups in the Maradi region on the border with Nigeria, Nigerien Defense Minister Kalla Moutari said on Monday.
