Kenya is hosting a joint field training exercise for more than 2,000 military personnel representing the member states of the East African Community (EAC), reports the Nation (Nairobi).
The one-week exercise, which began on Friday in Kwale county in the nation's southern coastal region, covers planning and executing peace support operations, disaster management, counterterrorism and counter-piracy.
