More than a dozen rockets have struck Al-Asad Air Base in Iraq, the latest in a string of attacks on the facility north of Baghdad, reports Air Force magazine.
On Wednesday, 14 rockets landed inside the base and its perimeter, resulting in the activation of defensive force protection measures, an Operation Inherent Resolve spokesman said in a social media post.
